This airport is located in Mascot, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1920 as city first commercial airport. Originally known as mascot aerodrome, it played a pivotal role in Australia’s aviation development. In 1945, it was renamed Sydney airport and underwent significant expansions over the years to accommodate increasing air traffic. The airport witnessed various milestones, including hosting the arrival of the first Boeing 747 in 1970 and the Sydney 2000 olympic games.
